Tunde Janosi has given Normandy High School a strong early-season spark, earning March Performer of the Month honors with steady results in two demanding field events. Competing for the Invaders varsity track and field team, Janosi has placed in both the high jump and long jump at the first two invitationals of the season, a clear sign of both versatility and consistency.

Her best finishes so far came in the long jump, where she took third place at the Bill Dodd Invitational and followed that with another third-place finish at the Don Faix Invitational. She also scored placing finishes in the high jump at both meets, giving Normandy valuable production across multiple events. Those results matter because they show Janosi is not just contributing in one specialty, but helping lead the Invaders in more than one area every time she steps into competition.

 Nick Hinkle has been the steady force behind Normandy High School baseball’s strong opening stretch, earning March performer of the month after helping lead the Invaders to a 4-1 start. A four-year varsity letter winner and the team’s freshman MVP in 2023, Hinkle has turned experience into production early this season, giving Normandy both a reliable bat and a clear leader on the field.

His biggest statement came in the two-game sweep of rival Valley Forge. Hinkle went 4-for-7 in the series with four RBIs, delivering the kind of offense that can swing a rivalry matchup and lift an entire dugout. Those numbers stand out on their own, but they also reflect the role he has built over time. As one of the program’s most seasoned players, Hinkle has helped set the standard for a varsity group that has opened the year with confidence and energy.
