The Normandy Boys Wrestling Season kicks off this weekend with the Varsity team wrestling at the North Coast Classic Tournament at Independence High School while the JV team will head to Coventry High School.  The wrestling team boasts its largest numbers in years and is looking forward to attacking a tough schedule that includes both strong dual meet tournaments as well as rigorous Individual tournaments across the state.

Leading the way for your Invaders are returning Varsity wrestlers David Lahodny, Lynden Bryant, Anthony Mastrobuono, James Moore and Dallas Ward.  After qualifying for the district tournament a year ago, Anthony Mastrobuono will look to build off his 2023 record of 32-13 and earn his spot at the Ohio State Tournament.  Coming off a 2023 campaign that saw him go 26-19 and earn an alternate spot at the district tournament, James Moore will be looking for more success in his post-season quest.  Lahodny, Bryant and Ward, all look to punch their ticket to the district tournament for the first time and make their run for Columbus.

With a slate of new faces, both the Varsity and JV lineups are packed and ready to take the next step as a program.
