October 13, Boys soccer wins vs Boardman on PK’s after playing over 50 minutes down a man. Normandy boys soccer made a massive comeback to score in the second half to tie the game and then hold Boardman off for 50 minutes after going down a man. David Jahami saved the day in the second half after putting a lot of pressure on Boardman’s back line and keeper Mohammed Elzant ripped a shot from the arc that the keeper couldn’t hold onto and David finished it off. After double overtime it went to PK’s, while the shot takers did their job Stefan Illic was the hero of the shot out saving two PK’s including their fourth one which ended the game with a Normandy victory 4-3. Scorers were Arsen Mykhailytsia., Ali Abukhrayba., and Waleed Wasif. >
