This season marks Coach Workman's first year with the team, following their impressive 14-1 record last season.During the previous season, the Invaders celebrated significant achievements, including Brooke Yontosh serving as a state alternate. However, the transition into the new season brings its challenges, notably the departure of key seniors Brooklyn Madal, Erta Beqiri, and Tamrah Szucs due to graduation.Despite these losses, the team harbors strong prospects with several key wrestlers returning, including Brooke Yontosh, Juliana Campos, Miyah Makoski, and Isabella Bonelli. Girls Basketball 2025 Season Preview

The Normandy Lady Invaders enter the 2025-2026 season looking to build on last year’s 16-8 record which included a district finals appearance. With a mix of veteran leadership and emerging young talent, the team is poised for another competitive year in Cleveland West Conference play.Leading the way is junior Ziley Minich, who returns after averaging 15.1 ppg, 4.2 apg, and 4.0 rpg last season. Known for her scoring and play making, Ziley will play a major role in driving the team’s success.Supporting the backcourt/frontcourt is junior Lindsay Mariwether returning after averaging 9 ppg, and 5 rpg. The coaching staff expects her to take a step forward this year.Normandy will look for help from seniors Keilei Anderson, Giana Carcioppolo, Chelle Wilcox, and Gina Tomecko. October 13, Boys soccer wins vs Boardman on PK’s after playing over 50 minutes down a man. Normandy boys soccer made a massive comeback to score in the second half to tie the game and then hold Boardman off for 50 minutes after going down a man. David Jahami saved the day in the second half after putting a lot of pressure on Boardman’s back line and keeper Mohammed Elzant ripped a shot from the arc that the keeper couldn’t hold onto and David finished it off. After double overtime it went to PK’s, while the shot takers did their job Stefan Illic was the hero of the shot out saving two PK’s including their fourth one which ended the game with a Normandy victory 4-3.
