The Normandy Swimmers competed at Sectionals today at the University of Akron. What an amazing day of swimming it was.  In total we had 43 personal best times and dropped a total of 2 minutes and 26 seconds of time.  WOW!!!!! Alex Cucu continued his amazing season winning Sectional Championships in the 50 Free and 100 Breast and helping the 200 Free Relay to a second place finish and the 200 Medley Relay to a 3rd place finish.

Joining Alex on those relays were Blake Colwell, Alex Birsan and Nate Dusek.  Blake got 3rd in the 200 IM and 4th in the 100 Back earning a trip to Districts in both events.  Alex Birsan also earned a trip to Districts in the 100 Breast.  The 200 Medley Relay, 200 Free Relay and 400 Free Relays all qualified for Districts.  The 400 Free Relay consisted of Nate Dusek, Nazarri Tsvihun, Kyle Wells and Eli Boose.  Rounding out the District qualifiers are Justin Sakeagak, Selina Cao, and Nate Dusek in diving.
